Dumfries House events...New dates added for 2012 Designed by the renowned 18th century architect brothers, John, Robert and James Adam, Dumfries House was built between 1754 and 1759. The house holds the most important collection of works from Thomas Chippendale for the first time can be seen by the public. Enterkine House is delighted to offer an exclusive range of packages to our customers: Bute Check in from 2.00pm, dinner, overnight
and breakfast. Transport to and from Dumfries House for a mid-morning
Tour (time to be agreed at booking stage). DumfriesCheck in to Enterkine House Hotel from 2.00pm and
depart approx 6.00pm for Dumfries House where the group will be greeted
and have an Exclusive Tour of the house followed by pre dinner drinks
and dinner in The Great Steward's Dining Room. Transport back
to Enterkine at 11.00pm and overnight stay at Enterkine and breakfast
the next morning. RothesayArrive 11.30am and maybe enjoy a cup of tea of coffee
in the grounds or in the house. At midday welcome to Enterkine and
a run through of the day. Enjoy a two course lunch and a glass of
wine and coffee. Depart for Dumfries House and on arrival enjoy a
full tour of the housem followed by a small cream tea. |
