This privately owned, luxury five star country house hotel in the heart of Ayrshire is a hidden treasure. The trees part to reveal an elegant house, built originally as a private residence in the late 1930s, and now enjoying a new role as a beautifully appointed country house hotel.

While Enterkine is a perfect setting for a personal retreat, it is also ideal for corporate gatherings or private dinners where complete privacy and exclusivity is important. It is also a popular base for golf enthusiasts visiting Ayrshire. Alternatively, the hotel can arrange outdoor group activities from clay pigeon shooting to quad biking, off-road driving to fishing and archery.

2010 marks the 10th anniversary of Enterkine being opened as a Country House Hotel. Over the past 10 years, we have established ourselves as a Hotel and Restaurant of great merit having been awarded numerous accolades for the quality accommodation and service we offer and, of course, recognition as one of Scotland’s top fine-dining venues thanks to the talents and skills of our award winning Head Chef, Paul Moffat, and his team.

Much of our success has been achieved through our commitment to develop and continue to grow our hotel and restaurant services. With the introduction of our unique Woodland Lodge and the opening of the refurbished Kirk House we now have more quality accommodation on offer than ever before. More recently, the installation of our stunning permanent Marquee at Enterkine has allowed us to develop our corporate events business and to cater for larger scale weddings, now placing us as one of Ayrshire’s leading wedding venues.

Our commitment to growth continues and, to mark our 10th anniversary in business, we are delighted to announce the launch and opening of our new Restaurant,

at the beginning of February 2010. We will close to the public on Saturday 2nd January - 15th January for a major refurbishment of the ground floor to create our new look Restaurant. With our new interior design and exciting new A la Carte Menu, Enterkine need not now only be reserved for that very special celebratory meal. You can now enjoy quality food in stylish surroundings throughout the week at a very affordable price and select one, two or three courses from our new original menu focussed on using the very best local produce and bursting with flavour.
